From a young age, I learned the importance of financial responsibility, growing up with a single mom who worked at a bank. She instilled in me the value of saving, building credit, and avoiding debt. Witnessing our financial struggles motivated me to take control of my own money early on, working multiple jobs and developing smart spending habits as best I could. After earning a business degree from Marygrove College, I spent 18 years helping scale a family business into a multi-million-dollar (debt-free) company. Through this experience I gained invaluable wisdom of financial management and how to implement strategic growth. An unexpected life change in 2022 pushed me to reevaluate my path, ultimately leading me to my next calling—helping others feel empowered about their finances.
